Shares of LiveChat Software became part of the mWIG40 index following the decision of the Managing Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The index change came into effect on December 28, 2017, after the last trading session of the year.
A block of 13,620,000 shares of LiveChat has replaced the shares of chemicals group Synthos in the mWIG40 index. The stock exchange has also rebalanced its WIG30 and sWIG80 indices.
The admission of LiveChat Software shares into the mid-cap index is a product of the company’s market cap and the liquidity of its stock. It also makes the company more visible to domestic and international investors.
