Preliminary estimated revenue for Q3 2022/23 FY

The Management Board of LiveChat Software S.A. (“Company”) informs that the estimated consolidated sales revenues of the LiveChat Software Capital Group (“Group”) for the three months period ended in December 2022 (Q3 of the 2022/23 financial year) amounted to 18.91 mn USD and were 35.8% higher than those achieved in the period October - December 2021.

In the same period of the previous year (October - December 2021), consolidated revenues amounted to 13.92 mn USD.

In the period June – September 2022 (second quarter of the financial year 2022/23), estimated revenues amounted to USD 15.47 mn USD.

The increase in revenues compared to the previous year results from both the increase in the number of clients of all the Group’s solutions and the higher ARPU (average revenue per client) resulting from the changes in the pricing of all the Company’s products, which have started since May 2022.

The Group’s Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) value across all products at the end of December 2022 was USD 6.35 mn, which is an increase of 29.3% from the end of September 2022 and an increase of 43.0% year on year.

The vast growth of the revenues and MRR in particular, as compared to that recorded in the previous quarter, results from applying pricing changes to new ChatBot and LiveChat clients since August 2022 and also applying new pricing to the existing customer base of LiveChat product as well as gradually converting the clients on legacy plans (based on pay-per-seat model) to pay-per-agent model. For the purpose of MRR calculation, the annual payments are broken down into individual months and MRR (in the opinion of the Management Board) is the metric of the Company’s business development which can be more useful to investors than reported revenues.

The most important trends that influenced the achieved result are:

  • Change of ARPU (average monthly revenue per subscriber) of the main Groups’ products. At the end of December 2022, LiveChat ARPU was USD 160.7 in comparison with USD 121.2 at the end of September 2022 and USD 119.2 a year ago.
  • ChatBot ARPU amounted to USD 115.1 at the end of December 2022 as compared with USD 110.4 at the end of the last quarter and USD 98.9 a year ago.
  • Increase in the number of Group’s customers year-on-year. At the end of Q3 2022/23 there were 36.850 LiveChat paying clients and 2.625 ChatBot paying clients.

ChatBot product revenues increased by 10.7% in comparison with the previous quarter and by 31.1% in comparison with the same period last year.
